PENGEMBANGAN VIDEO EDUKASI ISLAMI BERBASIS TEKNOLOGI UNTUK ANAK USIA DINI

Abstract

This study stems from the limited research on the development of Islamic educational videos that are systematically designed based on child development theories, despite their significant impact on character building and religious understanding of early childhood in the digital era. The aim of this study is to develop an animated Islamic educational video and evaluate its feasibility and effectiveness for children aged 4–6 years. The research employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The participants include 20 early childhood students, 2 PAUD teachers, 2 media experts, and 2 Islamic content experts selected through purposive sampling at a PAUD institution in Jakarta. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, expert validation questionnaires, and user response surveys. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive percentages, while qualitative data were analyzed using the thematic analysis model by Miles and Huberman. The results show that the video was rated "highly feasible" by media experts (score of 93.5%) and Islamic content experts (97%). Trials indicated increased interest and initial understanding of basic Islamic concepts, such as daily prayers and manners, with a 95% positive response rate. The findings confirm that the ADDIE-based video is valid, practical, and effective as a religious learning medium. This study has implications for the development of educational religious media and opens up opportunities for further research on the long-term impact of such media on children's moral development.
