Nafi': Journal of Community Engagement focuses on the development and dissemination of knowledge and best practices related to community engagement (PkM) activities. The primary focus of this journal is in-depth research and activity reports concerning various aspects of social intervention, community empowerment, and innovative solutions for societal problems. Nafi' Journal encourages contributions that delve into the processes, outcomes, and impacts of PkM programs based on the real needs of communities, both in urban and rural areas, and across various demographic segments. This includes efforts founded on the principles of active community participation and sustainable impact.
The scope of this journal is extensive, covering a wide range of contemporary issues in the field of community engagement. Relevant topics include, but are not limited to, community economic empowerment, community education and literacy, public health and sanitation, sustainable environmental management, local human resource capacity building, appropriate technology innovation for communities, arts and culture in community development, and social policies supporting community engagement. The journal is also open to research examining PkM methodologies, ethics in engagement, program evaluation, and partnerships between universities and communities or other stakeholders. An interdisciplinary approach is highly encouraged, involving perspectives from various disciplines such as sociology, anthropology, economics, education, health, engineering, and religious studies.
