Indexing

Wustho Journal: Islamic Communication is committed to ensuring maximum visibility and accessibility for the articles it publishes. One of the primary ways to achieve this goal is through extensive indexing in various reputable scholarly databases and journal directories. Indexing serves as a crucial gateway connecting our research with the global scientific community, allowing researchers, academics, and practitioners to easily discover, access, and cite relevant works. We actively strive to maintain and expand our indexing coverage, as this directly correlates with an increased impact and recognition of the journal at both national and international levels.

Currently, Wustho Journal has successfully been indexed in several important databases, including but not limited to: Google Scholar, which ensures that our articles are discoverable through the most popular academic search engine; Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital), which is a key digital reference portal for scholarly publications in Indonesia; and DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals), which affirms our commitment to open access principles and editorial quality. Indexing in DOAJ, in particular, indicates that our journal meets high-quality standards for open access journals. We are also continuously in the process of applying for indexing in other relevant and highly reputable databases, such as Scopus and Web of Science, to further enhance our global reach.

The presence of Wustho Journal in these various indexing databases not only increases the chances of our articles being discovered and cited but also strengthens the overall credibility and reputation of the journal. For authors, strong indexing means that their research will have greater visibility, potentially attracting more citations, and contributing to their academic career development. We believe that by continuously expanding our indexing network, Wustho Journal can effectively serve its mission to be a primary source of high-quality research in the field of Islamic communication, facilitating a broader and impactful exchange of knowledge.
