The Journal of Islamic Education Management (JIEM) focuses on the development and dissemination of knowledge in the field of management and leadership within the context of Islamic education. The scope of this journal covers various managerial aspects relevant to Islamic educational institutions, ranging from strategic planning, organization, implementation, to evaluation. Accepted topics include, but are not limited to, Islamic education curriculum management, human resource management in madrasahs and Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), financial management of Islamic educational institutions, and the development of effective leadership based on Islamic principles. The journal is also open to research exploring innovations in Islamic education governance, the application of information technology in Islamic education management, and comparative studies on Islamic education management practices across different parts of the world.
Furthermore, JIEM also addresses contemporary issues and challenges faced by Islamic educational institutions in managing their operations. This includes research on quality management in Islamic education, accreditation of Islamic educational institutions, risk management, and ethics and professionalism in Islamic education management.
