Indexing

The Journal of Islamic Education Management (JIEM) is committed to ensuring the wide visibility and accessibility of its scholarly publications, both nationally and internationally. Therefore, JIEM actively pursues indexing in various leading scientific databases relevant to the field of education management, particularly within the Islamic context. This indexing is crucial for enhancing the reach of published articles, enabling researchers, academics, and practitioners worldwide to discover and cite works published in JIEM. The indexing process involves a rigorous evaluation by database providers to ensure that the journal meets standards for editorial quality, ethical publication practices, and high content relevance.

Currently, JIEM has successfully been indexed in several important platforms, which significantly enhance its reputation and impact within the scientific community. At the national level, the journal is indexed in Garuda (Garda Rujukan Digital) and SINTA (Science and Technology Index) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. Indexing in SINTA, in particular, reflects official recognition of the journal's quality and consistency of publications. Furthermore, to increase global reach, JIEM also strives to be indexed in international databases such as Google Scholar, which provides broad visibility and easy searchability for millions of users worldwide. Presence in Google Scholar ensures that JIEM articles can be readily found through academic search engines.

The journal's management continuously works to expand its indexing list to more prestigious and selective databases such as DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals), Scopus, and Web of Science. The process for being indexed on these platforms requires time, fulfillment of strict criteria, and consistency in publishing high-quality articles. By expanding its indexing reach, JIEM hopes to contribute more significantly to the advancement of Islamic education management science, as well as to facilitate collaboration and knowledge dissemination at a global level. Strong indexing is a reflection of the journal's commitment to quality and open access to knowledge.
